Skilled Worker Stream:
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) looking for recent graduates, skilled workers, businesspeople and their families with intention to settle successfully in Manitoba as permanent residents.
The MPNP program select international experienced workers who have the skills in the local labour market and invite them to apply for Canadian permanent resident to work and settle in Manitoba.

International Education Stream:
This stream is for recent international graduates from Manitoba. If you are international graduate from another province of Canada, You won’t be eligible to apply under this stream.

Business Investor Stream:
This Business invertor stream is replaced the current PNP-B business immigration category. BIS allows international business investors and entrepreneurs from around the world who is eligible to start or purchase businesses in Manitoba. Candidates not required to submit a deposit of $100,000.

Who cannot apply to the MPNP?
The following are not eligible to submit an application to the MPNP:
- Refugee claimants, or individuals involved in a federal appeal or removal process
- Candidates Live-in Caregivers currently living in Canada
- International Temporary foreign workers currently working and residing in a province other than Manitoba
- Dependents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Applicants who have been refused by the MPNP within the last six months and who are not able to address the reasons for refusal
- Individuals who have an active immigration application with any other provincial immigration PNP program or federal immigration program in Canada.
- Note: An Express Entry profile is not considered an immigration application.
Eligibility for Manitoba PNP program:
The MPNP for International Skilled Workers nominates applicants who demonstrate a Strong connection to Manitoba through:
- Family member or friends in Manitoba
- Previous education or work experience in Manitoba
- Received Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the MPNP

Q1. How will Manitoba EOI benefit my application?
The MPNP is introducing new process including EOI MPNP application, to increase Manitoba labour market demand needs through the program.
- MPNP is faster and more efficient for MPNP applications.
Q2. Do I need to hire a lawyer or representative to help me or advise me on my application?
It’s not require you to hire a lawyer or representative to assist you with your application. Even if you hire someone, your application will not receive any special attention, or be handled specially from other applications.
Q3. Is there a list of eligible occupation for MPNP EOI?
No. There is no eligible list of occupations to submit an Expression of interest. However, Manitoba may restrict certain occupations from being invited to submit complete documentation to MPNP.
Q4. Who cannot apply to the Manitoba PNP?
- Refugee claimants, or individuals involved in a federal appeal or removal process
- Live-in Caregivers currently living in Canada
- Temporary foreign workers currently working and residing in a province other than Manitoba
- Spouses of Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Individuals who have been refused by the MPNP within the last six months and who are not able to address the reason(s) for refusal
