Express Entry Skilled Worker SINP
This sub-category is for international skilled worker who wants to live and work in Saskatchewan.
Eligibility Requirement:
- Applicant must have a valid Express Entry profile
- You must score a minimum of 60 points as per SINP point assessment grid.
- English language proficiency
- Education credential assessment (ECA) from IRCC’s list of approved organizations
- Work experience should not be in Excluded occupation list
- Proof of funds
- Professional Status or proof of eligibility for Licensure for your job may require.
SINP Occupation In-Demand
This sub-category is for international skilled worker who wants to live and work in Saskatchewan, However job offer is not required but your occupation should be in highly skilled in-demand list.
Eligibility Requirement:
- You are not a refugee claimant
- You must score a minimum of 60 points as per SINP point assessment grid
- English language proficiency of at least CLB 4
- Education credential assessment (ECA) from IRCC’s list of approved organizations
- Work experience that is highly skilled and should not be in Excluded occupation list
- Proof of funds
- Professional Status or proof of eligibility for Licensure for your job may require
- Work experience must be related to your occupation and education.

Farm Owner and Operator:
This sub-category is for applicant who:
- Have an experience in farming
- Have enough capital (Money, Assets) to invest in a farming operation
- Plan to buy and run a farm in Saskatchewan
Eligibility Requirement:
Available Equity: You must show financial documents a net worth of $500,000 (CAD)
Refundable Cash Deposit: You must sign a Performance Agreement to purchase and actively operate a farm in Saskatchewan. You must also make a “Good Faith” deposit of $75,000 (CAD) in trust. If you met the terms of the Performance Agreement the paid cash deposit will be returned. But if you do not meet the terms within two years of being in Saskatchewan, the deposit will be paid to the Province.
Mandatory visit to Saskatchewan: You must make an exploratory visit to Saskatchewan for at 10 working days.
Farm operation knowledge and experience: You must provide sufficient documentation as you are an experience farm operator. Verification will be done through an interview.

Eligibility Criteria

Practical farming experience. - Give a proposal for a commercial Saskatchewan farming opportunity with plans and minimum invest of $150,000 (CAD). Your proposal must be based on research, consultations or formal coursework related to Saskatchewan agricultural conditions. Hobby farms do not qualify. Also proposal should be a commercial project with an expectation of profit. In Saskatchewan, a qualified farming business must have a minimum of $10,000 CAD in annual revenue.
- Applicant must score a minimum of 55 points on the Farm Owner/Operator Category Intent Grid.
Farm Owners and Operators – Young Farmer Stream
This program was created to allow young farm families to establish their lives and farming operations in rural areas of Saskatchewan.
Eligibility Criteria
- Personal net worth of at least $300,000 (CAD)
- Show your net worth legally
- Age must be under 40 at the time of application.
At least three years of experience in:
- Farm ownership.
- Farm management.
- Practical farming experience.
- Give a proposal for a commercial Saskatchewan farming opportunity with plans and minimum invest of $150,000 (CAD). Your proposal must be based on research, consultations or formal coursework related to Saskatchewan agricultural conditions. Hobby farms do not qualify. Also proposal should be a commercial project with an expectation of profit. In Saskatchewan, a qualified farming business must have a minimum of $10,000 CAD in annual revenue.
- Based on your education and experience, you or your spouse must have an employment skills to support and increase your farming income.

- Make sure you meet the criteria
- Prepare your documents and application forms
- Exploratory visit to Saskatchewan for at least 10 days to conduct research through meetings with service professionals.

FAQ : Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. How many people will be invited at each draw? How many days will draws occur?
Based on Labour market needs the EOI numbers will be increased. EOI selection will take place in every two months, at a minimum time period. No one can predict the dates of the draws will take place.
Q2. What if I cannot submit all the documents within 60 days of being invited?
If you don’t submit your application within sufficient documents within 60 days of time period. Your invitation to apply will expiry and again you have create a new EOI, if you are still interested in applying to the SINP.
Q3. How SINP EOI application is created?
All that is required to create EOI application starts with personal details, education details, experience details, age and language proficiency details and connection to Saskatchewan.
Candidates that are not invited to apply will be removed automatically from the pool after one year. Once you have submitted your application it will be remain in the pool for one year time period. After that if you are still interested in SINP you can show an EOI application again.
